Local advertising is opaque: businesses pay platforms and never quite know what they bought, and customers never see who is paying for their attention. CityPreferred makes it a public market instead.

Every market is a live leaderboard for one niche in one city. Businesses bid openly for the top spots; the prices, the movement and the competition are all visible. Customers get a genuinely useful directory with an unusually honest layer of information on top: what local visibility actually costs, and who is competing for it.

Paid placement is always labeled, verification can't be bought, and empty markets say they're empty. That's the whole philosophy.
